Why is my Video on Dailymotion not showing ads yet?

The reason why your video or videos are not yet showing ads is because your videos have not received 10K views.

Previously, Dailymotion would allow its content creators to upload their videos and then Dailymotion would approve those videos and after that monetized them with video ads at the beginning or in between the videos.

However much this new policy could hinder those YouTube alternative seekers from having to wait that long until their videos are monetized, Dailymotion has resorted to do such to encourage content creation as well as to compete effectively with other video content platforms like TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and many others like Vimeo and Rtube.

This video explains why your video on Dailymotion is not yet monetized. The commentary is in Hindi but you the video has English content especially on the privacy policy sent to the owner of the video.

If you find it difficult achieving 10K views for your videos on Dailymotion, consider promoting your videos through the following social media platforms :

  1. Facebook; you can create a Facebook page pertaining what you vide content is about. Then upload your video on this page, but remember to ask your viewers and followers to visit your Dailymotion Channel where they can watch your other videos, then you leave a link in the description of your video. You can as well share your videos, with the link from your Dailymotion Channel, to Facebook groups which you are a member and the content of the group must be similar to your video.
  2. Instagram; Create an Instagram account for your Dailymotion channel and in the bio add the link to your Dailymotion Channel. Then create similar content on the new IG page as in your Dailymotion Channel. You will be uploading short videos to your Instagram Reel and on the description ask your followers to view more of your content by following the link in your Instagram bio.
  3. TikTok; It has posed a threat to the major social media giants like Facebook, YouTube and Instagram. This social media platform has been on the rise in recent years mostly because of short funny videos as well as not being so restrictive as YouTube. TikTok as at now is the best platform to grow any type of relevant trendy content. If you can come up with a shorter version of your content on Dailymotion, then you can redirect your viewers to your channel on Dailymotion by living your channel link in the bio of your TikTok profile.
  4. YouTube (ask people to view your other videos by leaving your Dailymotion Channel link in the description of your video)
  5. Quora; Quora is known as the master of questions, you will find a lot of them. Here is the trick, find those questions which you can answer, then create a video answering the question then upload the video on your Dailymotion Channel, and grab the video link then write a short answer on Quora plus tell your readers to watch your video where you have several other answers or have dealt with the question more.

In Conclusion, you need to always be on the lookout for new privacy policy and go through them, so that you will be in a better position to understand what you are required to do.
